Pet Stain & Odor Treatment Specialists in Middle Tennessee
Some Pet Odors Need More Than Carpet Cleaning
Pets are part of the family.
Unfortunately, pet urine can create a cleaning problem that goes deeper than an ordinary carpet stain.
What appears to be a small accident on the surface may have traveled through the carpet fibers and into:
Carpet backing
Padding
Seams
Tack-strip areas
And, in severe cases, the subfloor
That is one reason pet odor can sometimes return even after the carpet itself looks clean.
Clean State specializes in pet stain and odor treatment throughout Middle Tennessee.
Rather than automatically treating every pet problem exactly the same way, we evaluate the situation and determine what level of treatment makes sense.
Locating Hidden Pet Urine
Sometimes you know there's a pet odor in the room, but you can't tell where it's coming from.
When appropriate, Clean State can use a professional UV black light to help locate hidden urine deposits.
This can be particularly helpful when:
- A previous homeowner had pets
- You're moving into a new home
- A rental property has unexplained odors
- A puppy has had accidents in several rooms
- An older pet has begun having accidents
- A dog repeatedly marks certain areas
- Cat urine is suspected
- The odor becomes more noticeable during humid weather
- Previous cleaning didn't completely solve the problem
Treatment That Goes Beyond Covering the Smell
Depending on what we find, pet treatment may include:
Targeted Urine Treatment
Professional treatment products can be applied directly to affected areas.
Hot Water Extraction
Professional extraction can help flush treated contaminants from the carpet.
Sub-Surface Treatment
When urine has moved beneath the carpet fibers, deeper treatment may be necessary.
Water Claw Extraction
For qualifying situations, specialized Water Claw equipment can help extract contamination and treatment solution from beneath the surface.
Our goal isn't simply to replace a urine smell with a strong fragrance.
We want to address the source of the odor whenever reasonably possible.
Some severe contamination involving padding or subflooring may require additional remediation beyond carpet cleaning, and we believe in being honest about those limitations.
Deep Carpet Cleaning Across Middle Tennessee
Carpet doesn't have to look extremely dirty to contain embedded soil.
Everyday life introduces:
Dust
Outdoor soil
Pet hair
Pet dander
Body oils
Food particles
Spills
Fine debris
Traffic-lane buildup
Over time, some of that contamination settles deeper than routine vacuuming can reach.
Clean State uses professional truck-mounted hot water extraction, commonly referred to as steam cleaning, for deep carpet cleaning.
Depending on the condition of the carpet, our process may include:
Pre-vacuuming to remove loose dry soil.
Professional pre-treatment to help loosen oils, grime, spots, and traffic buildup.
Mechanical agitation when additional soil suspension is needed.
Truck-mounted hot water extraction to flush and remove suspended contamination.
Thorough extraction to remove soil, cleaning solution, and excess moisture.
We focus on the cleaning process as a whole rather than simply making a quick pass through the rooms.
Upholstery Cleaning Throughout Middle Tennessee
Your furniture sees constant use.
People sit on it.
Pets sleep on it.
Kids climb across it.
Hands and arms repeatedly touch the same areas.
Over time, sofas and chairs can collect:
Body oils
Dust
Hair
Pet dander
Food residue
Spills
Everyday household soil
Clean State provides professional upholstery cleaning throughout our Middle Tennessee service area for many qualifying furniture types.
Before cleaning, we evaluate the fabric and condition so we can select an appropriate process rather than treating every piece of upholstery the same way.
Area Rug Cleaning
Area rugs often serve as both decoration and high-traffic flooring.
They can trap significant amounts of:
Fine soil
Sand
Pet hair
Dust
Dander
Spills
Pet contamination
Clean State provides professional area rug cleaning for many qualifying rugs throughout Middle Tennessee.
Fiber type, construction, dye stability, existing damage, age, and contamination are all considered before cleaning.
LVP & Vinyl Plank Floor Cleaning
Luxury vinyl plank has become extremely common throughout newer and remodeled Middle Tennessee homes.
It may be easy to maintain, but that doesn't mean routine mopping removes everything.
Textured floors can gradually accumulate:
Fine dirt
Kitchen residue
Pet oils
Traffic soil
Sticky buildup
Cleaning-product film
Clean State professionally cleans:
Luxury Vinyl Plank — LVP
Vinyl Plank Flooring
Traditional Vinyl
Linoleum
Laminate Flooring
Professional cleaning can help remove buildup that ordinary household maintenance may leave behind.
Tile & Grout Cleaning
Grout lines can become darker gradually enough that homeowners don't realize how much soil has accumulated.
Clean State provides professional tile and grout cleaning for qualifying:
Kitchen Floors
Bathrooms
Laundry Rooms
Entryways
Mudrooms
Hallways
Commercial Floors
Other Tiled Areas
We also offer grout color sealing for qualifying flooring.
Hardwood Floor Cleaning
Middle Tennessee homes frequently contain hardwood flooring, from established older homes to newer construction.
Fine soil, oils, foot traffic, and product residue can gradually leave hardwood looking dull.
Clean State provides professional cleaning for qualifying hardwood floors.
We evaluate the flooring and finish before selecting an appropriate cleaning process.
Natural Stone Cleaning
Natural stone needs to be treated with care.
Marble, travertine, granite, quartzite, and other stone materials can react differently to cleaning chemistry.
Clean State provides professional cleaning for qualifying natural stone surfaces and evaluates the material before beginning.
